Not only does Encore Catering adopt software, but our in-house software developers are able to customize these softwares to ensure they work the most efficiently for our company and enable us to execute events to the best of our ability. We even have our own GitHub page where our in-house team builds and manages the software that powers our kitchens and logistics.

Unlike rigid, off-the-shelf software, our system is built by us, for us. This allows us to quickly adapt to special requests and manage the unique details of any event, big or small. In the catering industry, there are often last-minute requests and changes. For example, an increase in guest count for an upcoming wedding. We have built a centralized software that is utilized by all departments, enabling each team member to see these last-minute updates in real time. In this case, once our coordinator updates the guest count on the menu, this is automatically updated in our system so that management, shipping and our kitchen team are all notified of this change and nothing gets missed.
Our system fully integrates online ordering, kitchen workflow, and delivery logistics. This automation eliminates most manual errors, ensuring each order is executed according to the menu proposal and delivered on time. We use a delivery software that provides the most efficient routes for delivery, ensuring not only that we are arriving on time, but that we are reducing our carbon footprint wherever possible.
The efficiency from our custom tech allows us to offer unique food experiences. Our “Chocolate Bar Station,” for example, is only possible because our software integrations can flawlessly manage the process of taking orders on-site through a QR code, letting our kitchen know the client’s requests in real-time, and then communicating to the client through SMS when the order is ready for pickup.
Encore Catering is always looking to improve our systems and not only stay up to date with current trends and technology, but rather be a trail blazer in the technology space. We are currently in the process of building an Encore Catering app, which will synchronize all elements of our business to one centralized location, making it easy for on site chefs, coordinators and all Encore team members to access information from any given location.
Encore Catering is working to implement new ways in which we can integrate AI into our business to positively impact our clients and teams experience. We use AI to automate tasks, freeing our team to focus on delivering outstanding customer service and communication.
