Here are the steps that we follow to provide the very best in corporate lunch catering:


1. When you call our office, the first point of contact will be with our receptionist. She will walk you through specific details of the event such as:

  • Name, Phone Number, Email Address & Date of the Event
  • Event Location & Start/Delivery Time
  • Number of Guests
  • Dietary Restrictions
  • Budget


2. Once we receive these details, a member from our management team will call you to go through more specific details such as budget, flexibility and the type of food that you are looking for.

3. A catering coordinator will then put together a proposal for your corporate lunch catering order. Urgency is stressed at all times for all of our clients. Lunch orders that are last-minute are accommodated, as long as we have at least 24-hours notice.

4. After they send the proposal to you, they will make any necessary changes.

Kitchen Team

5. Once you approve our proposal, we will put it through to our kitchen. The kitchen will schedule time to prepare the order and coordinate the necessary kitchen staff and drivers.


6. Encore’s staffing company – AE Hospitality will schedule the necessary staff for your corporate lunch catering order. Typically, corporate lunch orders will only require 1 wait-staff to be on-hand to assist with the order, or may not require any staff at all. However, if a larger corporate lunch event of 20 or more people is requested, we will schedule two or more wait-staff.

Friday Feature: Toronto Food Blogger Savours Encore’s Tasting

On Wednesday, January 25th, Encore hosted a tasting for Toronto food blogger, Janice Kim “@torontofoodgal” and her guest – Terry Yoo at 6:00 PM. Janice won our #encorefusiontakeover contest on October 16th 2016 at the Toronto Catering Show. Our kitchen team worked meticulously throughout the evening to ensure every flavour that was used enhanced every dish.

The tasting consisted of the following:

The appetizer to follow featured: Porcini Crusted Beef Carpaccio – arugula, grilled lime, truffle and maldon. This is one of Chef Andino’s latest menu additions – a refreshingly light and colourful dish.

Next, we served two gorgeous entrées. Chef Andino plated a very hearty 10 oz. Herb & Rosemary Crusted Grain Fed Grilled Chop – apple and brandy demi. The Veal Chop was accompanied with garlic fried rapini, grilled eggplant, tomatoes, artichokes and crushed new potatoes.

We also served a second entrée – Crisp Skinned Seared Seabass – herb & garlic, garlic fried rapini, grilled eggplant, tomatoes, artichokes and crushed new potatoes.

Throughout the evening, Chef Andino spoke to both Janice and Terry on the specific ingredients behind each dish. Both were very impressed at the attention to detail, pointing out that our food is of “restaurant quality.” Chef Andino creates a purpose for every flavour that he uses, showcasing his flare for mastering the art of cooking in a fine-dining atmosphere.


For dessert, Encore served a Tiramisu Martini and Zabaione – on fresh strawberries.


At around 8:00 PM, we provided our guests with a tour of our 10,000 square foot kitchen facility. From our appetizer station, to the shipping and receiving area and pastry department, Chef Andino took the time to explain every detail of how Encore’s kitchen operates on a daily basis.
